Happy Labor Day Weekend! This is your update about new classes, class passes, and generally what's going on.


September Scheduling & New Classes

Group Classes

Gentle Yoga - Hybrid Option - This is the lunchtime class on Mondays from 12:00-12:45pm for everyone! It will be available as an In-Person class held in the yoga room at Sand Springs Chiropractic & Wellness, as a Live Streaming class via Zoom, or for purchase as a recording. Find out more information here and I hope to see you soon. You can purchase an September Monthly Pass for either In-Person or Virtual, or you can always drop-in. If you purchase a Monthly Pass and ever miss a class (get stuck at work, lose track of time, etc.) I will automatically send you the link to view the class recording!

Recorded Flow Class - Every week a new Vinyasa style class will drop on Monday morning at 6am and is available to access all week long. This is a more physically challenging class, and is best for those who are comfortable with many basic postures, and good for the student who wants to work! Focusing on matching breath with movement; where we move with our breath from one pose to the next.

Healthy Living Yoga on Zoom - This class is offered twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8pm with the ease of joining from wherever you may be! You can purchase an September Monthly Pass for either once or twice weekly, or you can always drop-in. If you purchase a Monthly Pass and ever miss a class (get stuck at work, lose track of time, etc.) I will automatically send you the link to view the class recording so you never miss out on your yoga class!

Chair Yoga at Sand Springs Chiropractic & Wellness - This class is on Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:30am. Cost is $10 per session. You can pay in-person before class starts, or reserve your spot and pay in advance through the website. Please note: class size is limited to 8 people - first come, first served.

Climb Tulsa - I’m leading the Intro to Yoga class on Mondays at 5:30pm, and I've recently taken over the Sunday morning Flow class at 11:00am. Come see me!

TU's Collins Fitness Center - I’m back at lunchtime on Thursdays from 12:15-1:00pm for a gentler class, as well as on Sundays from 4:00-4:45pm for a more intense, faster-paced class.


Purchasing Classes and Passes

If you want to join a class simply choose a class off the class schedule. When you find the class you want click on it, then click "Add to Cart"; you will be redirected to the purchase page for that class. Once you finish checking out on the website you will immediately receive a purchase receipt. And remember - if you ever purchase a virtual or hybrid class and don't log in or make it *for any reason* I automatically send you the recording.

NEW CLASSES starting September 13th & 14th! Curvy Yoga with Vicki Hibbert - I'm so excited for Vicki to be offering TWO 6-week series of Curvy Yoga! The Tuesday evening series is SOLD OUT, but there are still a few spots left on Wednesdays from 9-10am. You can sign up here! Here's a good description of class from Vicki: "Do you want to connect more with your body but aren't sure how to get started? Through this body affirming approach Curvy Yoga classes will help you get to know and meet the needs of your body exactly as it is today. Show yourself some kindness and join me for some Curvy Yoga. Everyone is welcome, whether you have any yoga experience or not."

Alexander Technique - Private Lessons on Fridays with Angeline LeLeux - not yoga, but Angeline works with you 1-on-1 to help you experience grace, poise, and moving with ease. Learn more about Alexander Technique and Angeline here.

Running Postpartum...

Today I’m 13 weeks postpartum. This morning after our 4:30am breastfeeding (and pumping) session I went for a run.

It was my first run since January 19th when I was just shy of being 6 months pregnant.

My first run since I had my daughter after 32 hours of labor and a c-section.

Like everyone who’s post-pregnancy my body is different. Sometimes it’s weird and doesn’t feel “normal” or how I’m used to it feeling. But I’ve been putting in my time on my yoga mat. Reacquainting with how I feel - what’s different and new (and weird). I’ve been doing Yoga Therapy work to help my pelvic floor and low back recover after labor. Some days are harder than others. I’m always reminding myself - everyone heals differently, and at their own pace.

But today - today I went for a run. I wasn’t fast, but neither is healing.

It was hard and it was awesome. And later today I’m going to take a nap.

I’d love to help you heal and get back to the things that you want to do. Whether you’re postpartum or just needing an opportunity to focus on how you feel.

Happy Summer!

July Scheduling & Restarting Classes

I am starting back from my maternity leave next week on the 11th! I will be easing back into my teaching schedule which means that I will be adding in classes over the next few weeks, with some restarting in August. You can check out the calendar here on my website

Group Classes

Chair Yoga at Sand Springs Chiropractic & Wellness is at a NEW TIME! - This class is on Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:30am. Cost is $10 per session. You can pay in-person before class starts, or reserve your spot and pay in advance through the website. Please note: class size is limited to 8 people - first come, first served.

April Newsletter

Happy April!

This is your update about my maternity leave and class schedule, Yoga Class Library Membership, class passes, and generally what's going on.

But first - can I ask you a favor? Can you help spread the word about classes or the studio? To those of you that have left a review please know how much I appreciate it and your support! Leave me a review on Google or Facebook, post about the class that you took, or bring a friend with you to your next class. It will help allow me to keep doing what I do, and offer more classes and options to you.


Certified Yoga Therapist

I finished my 18 month program with Susi Hately of Functional Synergy on March 1st, and am now a Certified Yoga Therapist through The International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT)!

This has been a long journey and I would like to thank everyone for all of the support over this past year and a half. This is the highest level of certification available as there is not currently a licensing body here in the USA.


April Scheduling & Maternity Leave

I will be beginning my maternity leave at all teaching locations on April 15th. My goal is to begin easing back into my teaching schedule in mid-June, but (of course) that is subject to adjustment based on medical release, etc.

I will remain in touch however during that time, and will be reachable via email (albeit perhaps a bit slower than normal).

While I am not offering new class content during my leave I encourage you to check out the Yoga Class Library Membership. The price is a steal, and you have access to over a hundred classes that I have taught over the past few years.

This month I will be offering this class as a recording only as I begin to slowly ease into my maternity leave.
