Why Book Private Yoga Classes?
Something every yoga instructor is asked at some point is: “Why pay extra to book a private yoga class?” It's an answer that is different for everyone. Some people are interested in a yoga practice, but they feel intimidated about walking into a class – particularly around people that they don't know. Some people feel self-conscious being in a room full of strangers; concerned that they will be judged for what they can or cannot do, or that they will do something “wrong”.
Some people have a specific goal that they're working towards. Perhaps they want to work specifically on a particular posture, or they're having pain when moving through sun salutations, or they've never felt like they really got what warrior two is all about and what they “should” be feeling.
And some people just want to have a practice tailored for them. For whatever is going on in their life that day, that week, that season.
Any of these are a perfect example of why you might look into private instruction. Some people have one private session in order to address that particular pose or question, or clarify a transition that doesn’t feel quite right. And some people just prefer to have a time and practice that is custom tailored to them.
PRIVATE CLASSES
Leta offers private, semi-private, or small group sessions by appointment at The Yoga Underground (located inside Sand Springs Chiropractic & Wellness).
All Class Types, as well as ongoing Yoga Therapy work with Leta are available in 1 hour, 75 minute, and 90 minute options.
*There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for all private yoga appointments. If you miss a session or cancel within 24-hours of your scheduled time you will be charged. Thank you for your understanding in this.
PRIVATE SESSION - 1 PERSON
$70/hour
Private yoga sessions can be focused on any number of things, including:
working through a particular movement or series
improving movement
improving body awareness
decreasing pain during your practice
Private ongoing yoga sessions consist of a preliminary session where we discuss your movement habits, goals and expectations, and conduct a short physical evaluation so that I can better determine how we can best progress and meet your goals. We then meet regularly (based on goals and scheduling) to work together toward your yoga goals.
SEMI-PRIVATE SESSION - 2 PEOPLE
$90/hour
Semi-private yoga sessions can be ongoing or occasional fun.
Semi-Private ongoing yoga sessions consist of a preliminary session with both students where we discuss your movement habits, goals and expectations, and conduct a short physical evaluation so that I can better build your personal practice and determine how we can best progress and meet your goals. I then create personalized practices that we will do together to work toward your yoga and overall health goals. Physical adjustments to help with healthy body alignment is recommended, but optional.
A Single Session would consist of a verbal consult, either by phone or email, where we discuss your preferred type of yoga and the purpose for the session - experience, fun, etc. I then create a personalized practice based on what is discussed. Physical adjustments during these types of classes are optional.
SMALL GROUP - 3-4 PEOPLE

Small group yoga sessions can be ongoing or occasional fun.
Ongoing Sessions consist of a preliminary session with the students where we discuss your movement habits, goals and expectations, and conduct a short physical evaluation so that I can better build a practice for the group. I then create personalized practices that we will do together to work toward your yoga and overall health goals. Physical adjustments during these types of classes are optional.
A Single Session would consist of a verbal consult, either by phone or email, where we discuss your preferred type of yoga and the purpose for the session - experience, fun, etc. I then create a personalized practice based on what is discussed that I present in a more standard class format. Physical adjustments during these types of classes are optional.
