Are you ready for the New Year?

As we prepare to move into 2022 I hope you have a moment or two to reflect on the past year with all of its shifts and changes. And most importantly I hope you have had a lovely holiday season - however you celebrate.

This is your update about the class schedule, NEW classes coming in the new year, Yoga Class Library Membership, class passes, and generally what's going on.

But first - can I ask you a favor? As we move into the new year I know lots of businesses are asking for help. So, can you help spread the word about classes or the studio? Leave me a review on Google or Facebook, post about the class that you took, or bring a friend with you to your next class. It will help allow me to keep doing what I do, and offer more classes and options to you.

Saturday Flow Yoga 10:15-11:30am - A more physically challenging class, this class is best for those who are comfortable with many basic postures, and good for the student who wants to work! Focusing on matching breath with movement; where we move with our breath from one pose to the next. You can also always purchase the recording of the live class if you can’t make it into the studio (or over sleep).

Wednesday All-Levels Yoga with Shannon - This is a beginner-friendly 6-week yoga class series. Classes occur Wednesdays beginning January 5 from 12:00-1:00pm. “A nice, gentle warm-up, a couple sun salutations, vinyasas sprinkled throughout. Sometimes we work towards a particular pose, but usually I take one shape, and I flip the perspective throughout class. Your body, and probably your brain, will thank you!” Please Note: This series has a minimum registration of 4 people before January 1, 2022 at 11:59pm CST. Check out more info here.

Tuesday Therapeutic Yoga for your Neck and Shoulders - This is a beginner-friendly 5-week class series. Classes occur Tuesdays beginning January 4 from 5:00 - 6:00pm. Designed to help you become more aware of how you move, and how you can move better primarily in our shoulders, arms, neck, and upper back. Allowing you to get past the tension and neck pain lingering from the holidays and the end of the year. Please Note: This series has a minimum registration of 4 people before January 1, 2022 at 11:59pm CST. Check out more info here.

Alexander Technique - Private Lessons on Fridays with Angeline LeLeux - not yoga, but Angeline works with you 1-on-1 to help you experience grace, poise, and moving with ease. Learn more about Alexander Technique and Angeline here.

I love to help people learn about their movement patterns and habits and use that knowledge to help them move more comfortably and efficiently, and reduce their pain. I currently have a few available spots to work 1-on-1 beginning in January. If you are interested in learning more about how you move and how you can move with more ease, I'd love to hear from you. My Chair Yoga class is on Wednesdays from 11:30am-12:30pm. Cost is $10 per session. You can pay in-person before class starts, or reserve your spot and pay in advance through my website. Please note: class size is limited to 8 people - first come, first served.

Live Streaming - I am offering 3 classes each week via live streaming through ZOOM: Gentle Yoga on Mondays and Healthy Living Yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Check out this month's schedule on the website.

TU-Collins Fitness Center - For those of you who have access to the CFC classes we’ll be announcing the spring semester schedule in the next few weeks - check the calendar to make sure you’re up-to date on class times.


Purchasing Classes, Passes, and Library Membership

If you want to join a class simply choose a class off the class schedule. When you find the class you want click on it, then click "Add to Cart"; you will be redirected to the purchase page for that class. Once you finish checking out on the website you will immediately receive a purchase receipt.

Monthly Passes -

I am offering two types of Monthly Passes, and that is the Virtual January Monthly Pass - Healthy Living and the Virtual January Monthly Pass - Gentle. Once you purchase a Monthly Pass, then you will receive a link before each of your scheduled classes; this saves you from having to log on and purchase each class individually. *If you ever miss a class (get stuck at work, lose track of time, etc.) I will automatically send you the link to view the class recording.

The newest available membership gives you on-demand access to the collection of recorded classes that I have taught since last March. They are separated by type of class to help you find what you're looking for with ease, and over the next few months I will continue to add more classes from my archive as well as all new class recordings. So you will never have to worry about adjusting your schedule to make it to a class again!


January Scheduling & Cancellations

- The Yoga Underground will be closed on January 1st. There will be a PreRecorded Flow class available for purchase in lieu of the usual In-Studio class.

November Newsletter

Happy November Everyone!

I hope you all had a lovely Halloween weekend. This is your friendly update about the class schedule, Yoga Class Library Membership, class passes, and generally what's going on.

Announcements

I'm excited to let everyone know that I'm pregnant! I'm just entering my second trimester, and am due at the very beginning of May. So what does this mean for yoga classes? Right now nothing is changing, but over the next few weeks and months I will have to begin scaling back what I can demonstrate during classes. This doesn't mean that what I am teaching will change, merely what I am able to demonstrate or do with you. As always I love questions, so always feel free to ask questions or ask for clarification, especially if it's during a movement that I can't physically show you at the time. We'll figure it out together. My goal is to teach until the middle of April at which time I will start my maternity leave with a goal to restart classes as soon as I am medically able - hopefully around the middle of June. While I am out on maternity leave the Yoga Class Library Membership will be up and running so that you can continue to follow your yoga schedule, with all of your favorite classes available there.

The Yoga Underground - The studio is currently OPEN on Saturday (10:15-11:30) mornings and is once again open to walk-ins. Please note that masks are required in the studio until you are on your yoga mat. You can look at the full studio schedule here.

Scheduling & Cancellations for November

- I will be in a training week for my Yoga Therapy certification program at the beginning of this month from the 2nd through the 9th. So, there will be a few pre-recorded classes during this time. If you purchase a monthly pass you will receive the link to your prerecorded class at 8am CDT the morning of the class, if you purchase one of these classes separately you will receive the link at 6am CDT the morning class is scheduled, or if purchasing after that time I will get the link out as soon as possible.
- There will also be NO Chair Yoga at Sand Springs Chiropractic & Wellness this coming Wednesday the 3rd. See you on the 10th!

Sand Springs Chiropractic is Moving!

The clinic is going through some very exciting moving and growing.

It is expanding to include a permanent office for Tamara Delgado - a wonderful licensed massage therapist. Leta will also have an office at the clinic, and the truly exciting part is that her space is large enough to accommodate small group classes - especially her lovely Chair Class (which has been unable to run since the beginning of the pandemic due to a lack of space in Sand Springs), as well as being able to see private therapeutic clients. With these changes the clinic is also changing its name to:

The new location is just a quarter mile from the old space at: 110 E Broadway (next to City Hall). And our phone number is still the same - (918) 246-5808

The new office is officially open for business at 8:30am on Monday, June 14th, 2021! We would love for you to drop by, look around, or check out the new clinic website.

COVID-19 Yoga Update

Due to COVID-19 The Yoga Underground is closed until further notice in compliance with Mayor Bynum’s executive order issued 3/17/2020. In addition to this I have also ceased ALL in-person yoga classes until the Mayor’s executive order is rescinded.

In order to continue serving you during this time I am offering live streaming classes through ZOOM at a reduced rate of $12 per class. This will help to continue paying the online operating costs, studio rent, and all the other bills that pile up on all of us. So, check out our new Virtual Yoga schedule and if you can’t find what you’re looking for please let me know! Please email with any questions and I will do my very best to help in any way I can.
